Chef Sheet Privacy Statement
The following statement describes how Magical Market, Inc. may collect and use personal information submitted via the Chef Sheet application and related data and services (collectively referred to as the "Chef Sheet Products") provided by Magical Market, Inc.
PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
Personally identifying information is collected when a user registers a Chef Sheet account. This information includes user name, email address, street address, business name, street address, and other contact information specific to the user or business. It also includes billing and payment information. Magical Market, Inc. takes all reasonable steps not to disclose this information to third parties unless compelled to by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site. Personally identifying information may, however, be shared with vendors and subcontractors for purposes of supplying the Chef Sheet Products.
INVENTORY INFORMATION
To use Chef Sheet Products users will enter information about their food and kitchen supply inventories. Magical Market, Inc. may disclose this information to other Chef Sheet customers or other affiliates. Although it will remain in the Chef Sheet systems associated with the user account that provided it, the only account information specific to a user that would be disclosed is the associated zip code.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
In registering a user account you must provide a valid email address, which from time to time Magical Market, Inc. may use for the sole purpose of notifying you about updates to the Chef Sheet Products. Magical Market, Inc. will not sell or rent your email address without prior disclosure of its intent to do so and affording you the opportunity to opt out.
COOKIES
Some of the Chef Sheet Products make use of cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer or smartphone tied to information about the user. Chef Sheet Products may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Examples of persistent cookies are those that keep users logged into Chef Sheet products. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. If you reject all cookies, you may not be able to use all Chef Sheet Products.
LOG FILES
The Chef Sheet servers automatically create files logging user activity. Data captured may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks used to access information. We may use this information to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We may use a tracking utility to perform this analysis, including one provided and/or hosted by a third party.
MODIFICATIONS TO PRIVACY POLICY
Changes to this privacy policy will be posted in places Magical Market, Inc. deems appropriate so Chef Sheet users can always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we may disclose it. Changes that Magical Market, Inc., in its sole discretion, deems substantive will also be emailed to users.
